Our Story

Ollie’s started around a kitchen table with a simple idea: bring people closer to real food, local makers, and the communities around them.

Natalie grew up in San Marcos surrounded by gardens, home cooking, and the kind of small-town businesses where you knew the people behind the counter. Later, living in Northern New Mexico showed us what a deeply connected local food system could look like. When we returned home, we wanted to build a little of that here — a neighborhood place for thoughtfully sourced food, really good drinks, and things worth bringing home.

We named Ollie’s after our son, Oliver, who was six months old when we started. For us, his name represents the next generation and the kind of community we hope he grows up in. The striped onesies and resemblance to a tiny Victorian swimmer — especially fitting in this part of river-loving Texas — inspired the rest.

Today, Ollie’s is a family-run Neighborhood Food Company serving San Marcos and New Braunfels. As we grow, the idea stays the same: source close to home, support local farmers and regional producers, make food we’re proud to feed our own family, and create places people are happy to make part of their everyday lives.
